A Certified Wisconsin Cheesehead, Cutting Assistant Molly Preston plays an integral part in bringing our many projects to life. She thrives in the collaborative alchemy of post-production: keeping timelines organized, smoothing workflows, and making sure every cut feels seamless. For Molly, editing is where the chaos of production settles into clarity and stories truly come alive.
Outside of Lucky Day, she flexes her creative muscles on personal projects, most recently writing, directing, and editing her first feature, Freedom, Wisconsin. She’s currently plotting what comes next, whether that’s another scripted feature, reality drama (yes, maybe Survivor), or even hosting SNL if she gets really desperate. If there’s cheese involved, even better.
